For those who have always wanted to learn the art form, we offer a 10-week Introduction To Ballet course that will teach you the basic positions of the arms and feet, and work on foundational steps that will allow you to perform exercises with ease.
Contemporary dance breaks away from traditional ballet lines and encourages one to move and express more freely.
Elements of floor work, contract-release technique and improvisation will be taught in the first half of the session to help students understand the basics of Contemporary dance. These basics are then incorporated into a short movement sequence, allowing students to apply the appropriate technique required to avoid unwanted injuries.
